Fertile Ground
Welcome to Mesa Farm's Fertile Ground. A virtual garden enriched with nutrient dense food for the Soul. Food that is vital to the growth of insights into non-dual understanding.
In the words of the Moody Blues, “You gotta make the journey out and in.” My journey ‘out’ has been nothing less than sensational. My outward journey changed direction forty-seven years ago when the emotional pain I was experiencing caused me to begin the journey ‘in’. Isn’t life interesting? Oh, the stories. But we don’t have time for that now. Perhaps our paths will physically cross one day, but until then, I would like to share with you some of my experiences and the insights these experiences have triggered.
On the outside, I have been realizing a dream I had long ago of building a sustainable farm. On the inside, I have been searching for the answer to two questions that rattle around in my head. “There must be more to this experience!” and “Who or what am I?”
Many individuals are more qualified to address these deep and essential questions. I express great gratitude to those individuals that have been involved in my internal evolutionary experiences. Thanks to my dear friend Brent, who saw my deep need and desire to know and had the patience to sit with me and set me on my path. And then, Thane Walker for his personal influence. Then there are many individuals who have formed blocks of words that express the profound understanding they have gained as a result of their inward journey. Gurdjieff, Ouspensky, Jean Klein, Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle, Jesus, Lao Tzu and Siddhartha and so many others.
Words can never express the depth and beauty of the human Soul. Yet, I offer these words and insights that reflect my personal journey with the hope and intention that they serve the evolution/revolution of human Consciousness.
So, again, welcome to Mesa Farm’s virtual space: a resource of fertile ground for insights into sustainable living on the outside and insight into our inner world; a world of non-dual Consciousness/Awareness
At Mesa Farm, we believe that our collective survival hinges on recognizing our true, ever-present identity as sentient beings within this unending, non-dual universe. Awareness of non-duality begins with the individual and ripples through the collective.
Our intention is to assist in cultivating individual awareness of non-duality. Here, you’ll find a space to explore the teachings of those who have recognized non-duality as reality. This is a space where we can contemplate the wisdom of ancient traditions and modern science. Here, we can engage in practices that harmonize mind, body, and spirit.
To begin, I would like to make it clear that there is no such thing as becoming enlightened, aware, or conscious. We already embody these states; we simply do not recognize our true Self.
I have written a paper to document my experiences with the teachings of master teachers—a blend of their insights. Nourishing Our Soul
